I like to read the new secrets on www.postsecret.com every sunday. Probably because they either make me laugh or they make me feel better about my own life.

First Week

So I've been in highschool for about a week. it's pretty cool, not as hard to navigate as you would think, my locker is in between nobody and a sophmore girl so that's...ok. My teachers r pretty nice, cept my gym teacher, she's on crack. And I've realized that even though the kids hate our principal, he's pretty awesome.

The seniors in our school used to have a room with foosball and pool and videogames, thanx to our principal. But of course one slfish class got it taken away. Also he's the one who's letting us listen to ipods in lunch and study hall, praise him. And all he wants is for us to not abuse it, I mean that's fair, right?

We had out first dance last friday, the mixer. I didn't go, I didn't want to deal with the social anxiety of a dance in the first 3 days of school. Apparently there's a tradition for it called Freak the Freshman, administration was pissed. Our princiapl said we get 2 more chances and if we blow them, no more dances for the year. And I get it, i mean he got a stack of letters, not emails or phone call either but real letters, from parents, I'd be saying the same thing if i was him.

I don't really get freak dancing, i mean i know it's prolly just me, but really, is it that fun, cuz it just seems nasty, especially if a junior is doing it to a freshman. but i don't know, i guess I'm weird.

Myspace

So it's been about a week since I started this little blog and no one has made comments and as I've looked at other people blogs I notice no one makes comments on their's either. I think this is because everyone else is on myspace (or maybe xanga, but idk about that).

Now I don't have a myspace page, loser ik, but I feel like myspace is like Abercrombie and Fitch. See abercrombie has good stuff, expensive but good. Except the only things I have from there r a couple of shirts I got for x-mas or my birthday or whatever, I would never actually shop there.

Here's the reason, I use blogger and I shop at Holllister, but I would never use myspace or shop at abercrombie becuz if I did ik I would feel like a complete sell-out to the whole conformity of trying to be like those cool assholes at school but not really being one of them. Now I'm not saying a little conformity is bad, but when u try to be a full-out preppy jock, it's a sad day indeed.

Highschool

So highschool orientation is over, it was kinda boring but whatever. I'm pretty excited for highschool, cuz everything in middle school seemed so pointless, like preparation for highschool, and now we're finally there.

Although I am worried about getting lost and being late, but I think I'll be ok. But the one thing that does worry me...lockers. My friends and I apparently moved into a senior wing (so says my sister)...great. U know it would be just my luck to get stuck inbetween two huge seniors with anger management issues. Ofcourse the row of lockers that my friends took has a broken locker so I have to be down the hall from them, alone.

Highschool is either gonna suck, or be awesome, but i don't know yet.
